About Laura Sedgwick
Laura M. Sedgwick, M.S., L.Ac. is a California Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbologist and owner of Hygeia’s Bowl Healing Arts Center: Acupuncture and Herbs.
Graduated from SAMRA University of Oriental Medicine with a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1993. She also has a B.A. in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and an AA degree in Humanities and Social Science from the Community College of the County of Morris in New Jersey. She also studied Feminist Spirituality and Peace and Social Justice at Earlham School of Religion, a Quaker Seminary. Laura is at home with both the art of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shamanistic practices to assist clients in their journey to health and wholeness.
She is a member of The Son’s of Italy, Laura uses the tools of acupuncture, herbs, and Qi Gong as practiced in Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM to assist clients in their journey to health and wholeness. Laura is also a practicioner of Esoteric Acupuncture as taught by Mikio Sankey, L.Ac.
