About Jane Gregorie
I am committed to providing my patients with the highest standard of care based on an attitude of gentleness, warmth, professionalism, and respect. By creating a treatment plan that addresses each individual’s needs and includes various modalities of Oriental Medicine, I strive to treat not only the symptom, but also the root of illness, and thus restore the balance upon which holistic health is based. As is elucidated in the classic texts of Chinese medicine, I also believe that it is vital to regard the mind and spirit with utmost care and attention in every treatment. A healthy body that is resistant to illness and fatigue depends on the balance of not only the physical, but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of ourselves. As a practitioner, I actively cultivate an atmosphere of compassion and clarity, where healing can happen on many levels.
Along with the more well-known modalities of Oriental Medicine such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine, I also offer nutritional/lifestyle counseling, meditation instruction, and education to all interested clients. I am happy to pass on the precious knowledge that the 5000 year-old Chinese medical tradition has to offer, so that everyone can benefit from its profound and practical wisdom.
My specialty is Women's Health and Fertility Enhancement. I have studied closely with Randine Lewis, author of The Infertility Cure and have attended her Fertile Soul retreats as an intern. I work with both patients who are going through treatments such as IUI and IVF as well as with patients who are trying to conceive naturally. In addition to my clinical practice, I offer a weekly "Fertile Ground" yoga class for women who are facing challenges while trying to conceive.
I received my M.S. in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. As part of this program, I did a year-long internship at geriatric care facility and a semester long internship at a chemotherapy clinic, in addition to two years of general practice at the school clinic. I had a private practice in Santa Fe following my graduation from acupuncture school and worked for the past two and a half years at an integrative medical center in Savannah, Georgia, where I specialized in Women’s Health. I also pioneered an acupuncture treatment program at an HIV wellness center in rural Georgia and offered free acupuncture treatments at a local homeless shelter. I am certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and a Diplomate of Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am licensed in the state of Colorado. I have had advanced training in fertility enhancement and specialize in women’s health issues such as menopause/perimenopause, infertility, menstrual problems, and interstitial cystitis.
