About Marylyn Bell
Marylyn Bell is 1 of only 9 professionals in Canada who is nationally certified in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM (National Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) in the U.S. She is 1 of 2 in British Columbia with the addition of the certification of Registered Acupuncturist. She received her Doctoral Diploma from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was one of the first trained in Canada to be certified by the United States.
Marylyn has returned to Vernon, British Columbia to run a private practice, INTERIOR TCM ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC Inc. She also lectures on the benefits of all the modalities used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, herbology, tuina massage and Qi gong for health prevention and effectiveness of treatment for a variety of conditions. Her goal is to enrich the worth of our health care by uniting TCM with current allopathic practices.
During her time in Ontario she completed a successful year long research project exploring the benefits of acupuncture for gambling addiction at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.
As well as being a lecturer and facilitator of seminars to educate the public, she is committed to raising the awareness, standard of practice of this comprehensive medical profession and to the regulation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Canada.
