Acupuncture & Alternative Medicine of Dallas is a comprehensive clinic headed by Dr. Lin Zhou located in Dallas, Texas, offering a broad range of alternative solutions for all health and pain related issues.
Dr. Lin Zhou, doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM); acupuncturist and women’s health specialist, has been in practice and research in the TCM field for the past 20 years. She is a state licensed Acupuncturist in both Texas and California. She has also received certification as a Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In 1984, Dr. Zhou was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious Shanghai University of TCM in China, and was the Physician in Charge in its affiliated hospital. Her experience included working extensively in the area of women’s health and infertility. She is the contributing author to acupuncture.com for women’s issues and has written several articles for regional magazines. In addition, Dr. Zhou supervises professional training programs and regularly demonstrates acupuncture treatment to medical residents at Baylor Hospital.
Dr. Zhou has been involved in researching the treatment of infertility and IVF support, endometriosis, menopause, PMS and menstrual problems with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. In addition, her practice focuses on the treatment of a variety of conditions including pain management, allergies, depression, headache/ migraine, chronic fatigue syndrome, facial rejuvenation, smoking, and weight management, as well as helping cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.
Dr. Zhou is dedicated to bringing better health and alternative approaches in healing to the people and the great Dallas community she serves. In addition to acupuncture treatment, Dr. Zhou educates her patients to observe the effects of their lifestyle, emphasizes any subtle signs of imbalance, and helps them maintain, and exceed their optimal health expectations, as well as improve wellness and quality of life.
