About Maoshing Ni
Dr. Mao is a Licensed Acupuncturist, a Diplomat of Chinese Herbology and a Diplomat in Anti-Aging. He is currently in general practice with special interest in immune, hormonal and aging related conditions. He was awarded the Outstanding Acupuncturist of the Year Award in 1987. Dr. Mao is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the AOMALLIANCE, American Society of Acupuncturist, the American Association of Acupuncturist & Oriental Medicine and National certification Commission for Acupuncturist & Oriental Medicine Diplomat in Chinese Herbology. Dr. Maoshing Ni comes from a long line of doctors in his family and was educated both in the United States as well as in China. His special interests include gastro-intestinal, immune, pain, and aging related disorders. Dr. Mao along with Dr. Dao, his brother and father, founded Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Monica, California. He is currently director and a professor of Chinese medicine at Yo San University. He is the author of several important texts in Traditional Chinese Medicine, nutrition and Qi Gong. |
