About Eun Chyung
Eun Chyung, PhD, LAc, received her B.A degree in Oriental Philosophy from Sung Kyun Kwan University, Seoul, Korea. She received her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University, Los Angeles, graduating with the highest honor.
While at Samra, she was certified in Hand Acupuncture from the Koryo Hand Acupuncture Therapy Institute, Los Angeles. She is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with an additional certification in Chinese Herbology. She has also earned her doctorate degree (PhD) in Oriental Medicine and continues to broaden her knowledge by working towards a degree as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (OMD).
Her rich knowledge of herbal remedies, coupled with her continuing studies in Sa Sang Constitutional Medicine makes her a successful practitioner and healer. Sa Sang Constitutional Korean Medicine is an exciting, newly re-discovered approach to Traditional Oriental Medicine, whereby, the diagnosis is based upon the patient’s Constitution rather than on an observed set of symptoms. This specific diagnostic technique has proved to be very successful in treating many diverse diseases and ailments.
