About Sharon Y. Weng & Henry D. Wu

Oriental Art of Healing Clinic provides top quality services of acupuncture, Chinese herb medicine, Qigong and other traditional Chinese heath care in Denver, Boulder, Colorado and, Houston, Texas. Known as one of the best acupuncture and Chinese medicine clinics, our offices offer not only the professional therapeutic and care set, but also a cozy home environment to relax. The acupuncture needles we use are sterile, individually-packed, and disposable. The doctors in our offices were born, and fully educated and trained in China with medical degrees in medicine and Chinese medicine (and acupuncture) and have over 23 years of clinic experience in both China and the United States.

To meet the diversity of needs from our health seekers, the offices offer various Oriental healing approaches including classical acupuncture, electrical acupuncture, auricular (ear) acupuncture ear, moxibustion, cupping, acupressure, Chinese herbal medicine, medical Qigong (teaching, therapy, or combined). Due to the complexity of human body and multi-factors involved in human health, our treatment regimens always address some essential health-relating issues, such as diet, life style, living and working environment and emotional-personality profiles, in addition to acupuncture, herb medicine and other mentioned approaches. We take gracious care of people and are glad to work together with you for your healthier and happier life.

Sharon Yingping Weng, MD (China), MS, Dipl.Ac, has over 23 years clinical experience in China and the USA. She graduated with her MD degree in Chinese medicine from a 5-year medical program in Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and has been certified by NCCAOM in the United States. Dr. Weng was an attending physician at Fujian Province People's Hospital, Fuzhou, China, where she has practiced acupuncture and Chinese medicine for 10 years before practicing in the USA.
Yingping came from a family with a tradition of Chinese medical practice. Her caring personality and well-known clinical skills are thought a gift inherited from her grandfather, who was a famous Chinese medical doctor of the town.

Dr. Weng has published a number of clinical research papers in addition to two coauthored chapter books: A Clinical Manual of Integrated Chinese Traditional and Western Medicine, and Clinical Case Studies (English).

Sharon (Yingping) is currently serving Houston, TX areas.
Henry D. Wu, MD, MS, Dipl.Ac, graduated from Sun Yat-Sen Medical College (a 6-year medical program) at Guangzhou, China. After graduation, he was further trained in traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and medical Qigong at Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, where he has practiced internal medicine and cardiology, and integrated Western-Chinese medicine for 9 years before practicing in the United States. Dr. Wu also holds his Master's degree in molecular biology in the United States and had years of experience in biomedical researches at Texas Medical Center, Houston, TX.

Henry is certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by NCCAOM in USA. He is a professional member and certified Level IV Qigong Teacher, a top certification, of American National Qigong Association (NQA).

Dr. Wu has a very unique academic background that integrates insights of Western medicine, Chinese traditional medicine and molecular-medical sciences and, as a native Chinese, his personality and intellectual character are deeply enriched by the ancient wisdom of philosophy, traditional Chinese culture (including Chinese fine calligraphy, a most sophisticate form of Chinese fine art), all of which allows him to aim at a higher vision in his clinical practice.

Henry is currently serving metro Denver & Boulder, CO.
