About Mitchel Chalek
Mitchel Chalek, BFA, MS, LAc, CA is the acupuncturist and herbologist at Village Acupuncture. He received a bachelor’s degree from New York University, and a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, NY, in 1999. He is Nationally Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and licensed to practice acupuncture in both New York and New Jersey. Mitchel was the Senior Acupuncturist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Integrative Care Center and served on the Board of Directors of the Acupuncture Society of New York. He is also certified in Ohashiatsu, a Japanese acupressure technique.
