About Weiping Wang
Dr. Weiping Wang L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Pennsylvania and certified as a Diplomat of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Dr. Weiping Wang graduated from Beijing Capital Institute of Medicine with high honors receiving her MD degree in 1984. While practicing medicine as an OB/GYN doctor in China for seven years she studied acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Once in the United States she obtained National Board Certification and PA Licensing for Acupuncture. Since 1995 she has been working in an infertility clinic. She also practiced in a pain management clinic for six years. Having studied the difference between western and Chinese patients, she has developed techniques uniquely suited for western patients. As a medical doctor, with acupuncture training in China, she is able to combine facets of Eastern and Western medicine to provide customized treatment plans for each patient’s condition in her own acupuncture and herbal medical practice established in 1999. She has been successfully using her “magic hands”, extensive training, and passion to help people through employing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

One of Dr. Weiping Wang’s most rewarding areas of her practice is using acupuncture and Chinese herbs to help women become mothers. Dr. Wang has been working with Reproductive and Endocrinology doctors for more than twelve years applying her OB/GYN and infertility experience. She has a strong belief that both western and eastern medicines can enhance each other’s efficacy as shown by studies conducted in Germany, Sweden, and her own practice.
Dr. Weiping Wang has recently completed a study that demonstrated significant improvement in IVF pregnancy rates as well as carrying a baby safely to term. Patients received a combination of electronic acupuncture with pre and post Transfer acupuncture protocols. Dr. Wang’s infertility patients enjoy twice the pregnancy rates as the national average when combined with medical assisted reproductive technologies.
Dr. Weiping Wang also treats women for: endometriosis; recurrent pregnancy loss; PCOS; aging eggs; high FSH; thin endometrial lining; luteal phase defects; menstrual disorders; ovulation defects; ovarian insufficiency; PMS; and menopausal syndromes.
Pain Management
Dr. Weiping Wang worked in the pain management office with Dr. Albert for six years. She has advanced training in orthopedics specializing in an acute and chronic pain management. Acupuncture treatments are effective pain management for: hernia disk problems; back pain; neck and shoulder pain; arthritis; fibromyalgia; headaches and migraines.
