About Maryann Child
Maryann Child is an Acupuncture Physician and a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine and NCCAOM board certified. She attended the American University in Washington, D.C., where she obtained her bachelors degree in Psychology. Maryann graduated in 1998 from the Acupressure Acupuncture Massage College receiving her Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. She then interned in Miami as well as in North Miami Beach where she worked until opening her practice in Coral Springs in October of 1999, where she currently practices.
Maryann is also a licensed Hypnotherapist and incorporates different techniques of hypnotherapy in treatment. Maryann has been a practitioner of the healing arts for over fifteen years and incorporates many different modalities in treatment of the body. She specializes in women’s health and its disharmonies and is passionate about her work. She is currently conducting research and is in fellowship with Quantum-Veritas International University Systems.
Maryann is a holistic medical practitioner who treats western medical conditions with traditional Chinese medicine. She performs procedures such as Acupuncture, Moxibustuion, Cupping, Shiatsu, and Tui Na. She also treats disease by using traditional Chinese Herbal formulas. Other medical arts which she practices includes Homeopathy and Flower Essence Therapy.
