About Lisa Corrigan-Bilkey
Lisa Corrigan-Bilkey, MSOM, L.Ac., is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine, and Bachelors of Science in Nutrition, from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Lisa is also a Diplomate in Acupuncture (Lisa Corrigan-Bilkey, MSOM, L.Ac., is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified by the NCCAOM), and completed an additional medical internship at the Guangzhou Hospital and advanced training at the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China.
Lisa specializes in the treatment of Infertility and High Risk Pregnancy. In fact, 90% of her practice consists of couples at every stage of the infertility process. She has completed advanced training with Randine Lewis L.Ac., Ph.D, author of "The Infertility Cure" and completed additional certifications in the treatment of Infertility from the AAOM(American Association of Oriental Medicine). Lisa is also a member of Fertile Hope and is passionate about helping those struggling with post-cancer fertility treatment.

Lisa’s Healing Philosophy:
Determine the cause, rectify the imbalance, educate with compassion. Lisa’s philosophy is evident in the way she cares for her patients. Treating the whole person and taking the time to address all aspects of wellness such as diet, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. She likes to think of herself as a wellness coach who helps her patients create a lifestyle that will support comprehensive health, self-empowerment, and inner peace.
Why Lisa Practices Oriental Medicine:
Oriental Medicine has been a solution for me. It found me at the end of a disheartening journey; in and out of hospitals, losing faith in the powers of Western medicine. I know what that feels like. I also know the energy and empowerment that comes from discovering something that feels true for you. I love teaching my patients about Oriental Medicine and how it can help them improve and maintain their health and well-being. Oriental Medicine is exceptionally individual; no two people are treated exactly the same. It is also elegant in its simplicity; every imbalance is treatable and nothing is ever overlooked.
What to expect:
During patients' initial consultation, they receive a very thorough health intake including her skillful examination of the pulse and tongue. Once she has a clearer picture of a patient's individual pattern of imbalance, the first treatment is administered using acupuncture and other healing modalities. Afterwards, she presents a personalized treatment plan to help bring the body back into balance.
Lisa is owner/practitioner of Harmony Health, Inc. The practice, is a spa-like oasis located in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area of Chicago.
