About Don Diggs
Don G. Diggs L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., Dipl.C.H., Dipl.O.M. is the co-founder of the Center for Health and Wellness, an integrated center offering clinical nutrition, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Ayurvedic medicine. He is a graduate of the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has served as a participating practitioner-instructor for the University of Maryland School of Medicine Complementary Medicine Program. He is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine(NCCAOM).
Don practices Traditional Chinese Medicine including Acupuncture combined with Cupping Techniques, Electrical Stimulation and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Don is also a practitioner of Ayurvedic Medicine. He completed the Ayurvedic Program for Health Professionals offered through the American Institute of Vedic Studies under the direction of Dr. David Frawley in 1993 (http://www.vedanet.com/ - see practitioner resource guide). He studied advanced Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad, an internationally recognized Ayurvedic Physician and author. Don was recognized in the Washingtonian Magazine as a "noted Washington DC area Practitioner" of Ayurvedic Medicine in the article, "Can The New Medicine Heal you".
Don offers Ayurvedic consultations for constitutional balancing and management of health issues. |
