About Nicole Settle
Nicole received her Bachelors degree in Family and Child Development from Michigan State University. She then obtained a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the Midwest College in Chicago, Illinois. Traditional Chinese Medicine includes Acupuncture/Acupressure and Chinese Herbs. Completing over 3000 educational hours, 1000 clinical hours and having graduated with honors, she is a highly skillful practitioner. Along with her education, Nicole studied for 2 years in London with Dr. Liu Liu Zhang, master herbalist from Shanghai China, who specializes in Gynecology and Fertility.
For the past 7 years she has practiced in Chicago out of two types of offices: One being an Integrative Medicine Center, and the other is the first Center for Holistic Fertility in the Country.
Currently, Nicole is in an Integrated Pain Clinic through IT Works in Livionia Michigan. It is here that the staff uses Physical Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture to help patients with chronic pain from an auto accident, a work injury, or another type of accident. Nicole also practices out of Beaumont Hospital's Integrative Medicine Center in Royal Oak and Troy, treating women's health conditions, including fertility and pregnancy.
Nicole is a member of the ISAA (Illinois State Acupuncture Association), the Michigan Acupuncture Association and the AAAOM (American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). She frequently lectures on Acupuncture for Fertility and Traditional Chinese Medicine for Women’s Health.
Nicole can treat many common syndromes – Fibromyalgia, PMS, Menopause, Fertility, Irritable Bowel, Insomnia, Depression, Post-partum disorders, Endometriosis, Migraines, and general pain.
