Cindi Fox Kemp DOM, AP (FL), L.Ac. received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor of Health Studies from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, in June of 2004, graduating Suma Cum Laude.
She received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Rollins College, located in Winter Park, Florida.
Cindi has received additional training from some of the most famous Doctors in the Oriental Medical field:
- Ear Acupuncture (Auriculotherapy), taught by Dr. Li-Chun Huang, O.M.D.
- Pain Treatment for Musculoskeletal Injuries, taught by Dr. Tan, O.M.D.
- I Ching Acupuncture based on Dr. Chao Chen, taught by Yu Chen (Chao Chen’s son).
Prior to practicing Acupuncture, Cindi developed and taught Environmental Education curricula in Forest & Coastal Ecology and Marine Biology. She also facilitated Ropes Courses to teach empowerment and leadership skills for diverse populations ranging from third graders, high school students and to Vietnam Veterans. She then spent two years in management for a sport nutrition company, where she had rigorous training and did extensive research on nutrition, biochemistry and physiology.
Cindi Fox Kemp is a member of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, American Association of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance.
Cindi relocated from Florida where she is a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician, and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of North Carolina. She also is a Diplomate of Acupuncture. Cindi specializes in Acupuncture and Herbal formulas to treat pain, women’s issues, allergies and stress management.
