About Mavis Bates
Mavis Bates is a Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in the western suburbs of Chicago. For the convenience of her patients she has offices in Aurora, and North Aurora.
Mavis graduated from the Chicago campus of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, one of the nation’s leading colleges of Oriental Medicine. Pacific College stresses the integration of Oriental Medicine with Western Medicine, and Mavis is well trained to understand and discuss any diagnosis from your M.D. in relation to your Oriental Medicine diagnosis.
Mavis is board certified in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the NCCAOM, the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Mavis also holds a Doctor of Naturopathy, which allows her to include Western Herbal Medicine, Aromatherapy, and Flower Essences in the treatment of her patients.
