About Leonard Melamed
Leonard Melamed R.AC., LMT, CHT, is the director of the Acupuncture and Massotherapy Rehabilitation Clinic, located at the Medical Arts Building in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Leonard Melamed received his M.D. degree from the Voroshilovgrad Medical Institute, Ukraine in 1977. During his postgraduate medical training in internal medicine, Leonard also studied and practiced Medical Hypnosis, Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. After several years working as a medical doctor, he became the director of the Rehabilitation Department at the Kiev Outpatient Clinic.
While engaged in general practice of Acupuncture, Shiatsu and Hypnosis, Leonard’s special interests are in natural energy healing (Tui-Na, Reiki) and Homeopathy. At his acupuncture practice, Leonard uses his strong background in Western medicine along with his vast knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, gathered from more than 25 years of experience to provide his patients with the attention and healing they require.
Leonard provides acupuncture and hypnosis services to the patients with pain, stress, anxiety, addictions (nicotine, alcohol), obesity, work-related, auto accident injuries and currently operates a private practices in Cleveland Heights and Solon, Ohio. He has a third practice at the Hawthorne Valley Country Club.
