About Marie Yahner
Marie A. Yahner, L.Ac., NCCAOM, is a National Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona. She earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture (PIHMA) in Phoenix, and completed a clinical internship in Chengdu, China, at the Hospital of the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In my general practice, I treat many forms of pain, stress, and anxiety-related disorders, including the psycho-emotional issues of people in transition. I have a special interest in working with eye health, neurological conditions, rheumatology, and women’s health. My interest in eye disorders and the treatment of neurological disorders has led me to study the Scalp Acupuncture of Dr. Ming Qing Zhu, with whom I am currently a professional member-in-training. I incorporate Auricular Acupuncture, Five Element Acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, medical Qigong, nutritional and dietary counseling, and Chinese herbal formulas.
I care deeply about my patients. I am thoughtful. I believe that taking time to listen to my patients is a core element in successfully uncovering the root cause of a problem. I am results oriented. I use my skills with intention, to arrive at a diagnosis and treatment plan to achieve the desired result – a successful outcome. |
