About Marie Yahner
Marie A. Yahner, L.Ac., NCCAOM, is a National Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona. She earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture (PIHMA) in Phoenix, and completed a clinical internship in Chengdu, China, at the Hospital of the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In my general practice, I treat many forms of pain, stress, and anxiety-related disorders, including the psycho-emotional issues experienced by people in transition. I have a special interest in working with neurological conditions, as well as stroke recovery, rheumatology, eye disorders, and women’s health. My interest in the treatment of neurological disorders led me to study the unique Scalp Acupuncture methods of Dr. Ming Qing Zhu. I incorporate Auricular Acupuncture, Five Element Acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, medical Qigong, nutritional and dietary counseling, and Chinese herbal formulas into my treatments.
I care deeply about my patients. I am thoughtful, with the belief that taking time to listen to my patients is a core element in successfully uncovering the root cause of a problem. I am results oriented. I use my skills with intention, to arrive at a diagnosis and treatment plan to achieve the desired result – a successful outcome. |
