About Xiaoying An

Dr. Yang Ai Guo and Dr An Xiao Ying are both trained in western medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine in China. They both hold PhD’s from Shanghai University of TCM and are very familiar with the development in the research and treatment of diseases using traditional Chinese medicine, herbs and acupuncture in China and in the world.

About Dr. Yang Ai Guo

Dr. Yang graduated from Zhangjiakou Medical University and in 1990, started his own practice in his hometown. As the only medical doctor with a bachelor’s degree, he got the chance to use Chinese herbs, acupuncture, tuina and western medicine to help the local people. By the end of his first year in practice, he saw an average of 70 patients daily.

Dr. Yang went on to study at the Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He worked as a medical doctor at the People’s Affiliated Hospital of Fujian College of TCM for 5 years. He also received his Master’s degree in medicine from there. As an intelligent young doctor, he also got the chance to study at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is one of the best Traditional Chinese Medicine Universities in the world. It was there that he met his mentor, Dr. PingDong Zheng, a seven generation Zheng family pediatric practice in FuZhou, Fujian. In three year’s hard work, Dr. Yang finished his Doctor's degree in Shuguang Affiliated Hospital of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004.

As a specialist in TCM, Dr. Yang was a member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine of China, an association that combines Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine of China. He also was secretary of Fujian Association of combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine and Director of the Kidney Disease Research Institute in Fujian People’s Hospital. Most recently, he served as Herbal medicine supervisor at The Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in South Florida.

Dr. Yang has conducted research on the treatment of nephrology disease with Chinese herbs. He finished clinical study on the relationship of urine EGF to chronic glomerulonephritis, and to TCM syndrome, which was a project supported by the Nature Science Study Fund of Fujian province. The result won the Science Progress award of Fujian province. It was published in the top TCM Kidney journal in China.

Dr. Yang also did clinical and experimental study on “Bao Shen Kou Fu Ye” (Kidney Protection Liquid) which is made from an experiential formula from Fujian People’s Hospital. KPL is effective in improving symptoms, relieving urine blood, as well as reducing the microscopic hematuria and the deposits of the protein IgA within the kidney. Because of the effectiveness of KPL, the application for the national patterned herb has been submitted.

Dr. Yang specializes in the treatment of all types of diseases with Traditional Chinese Medicine- herbal medicine, acupuncture, and tuina. He has published over 25 papers in some of the most prestigious national and international professional journals. Dr. Yang is an NCCAOM certified acupuncture physician in the USA with licenses in Florida and Indiana.
