About Jin Wu
The Acupuncture and Herbal Center is owned and operated by Dr. Wu, the first and only Oriental Medicine Practitioner in Louisiana, who is certified by National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Wu was trained in Shanghai and has over 35 years of TCM experience. In addition to being state and board certified, Dr. Wu is a third generation Chinese Medical Doctor. Having come from a long lineage of doctors and herbalists, Dr. Wu has much expertise in Acupuncture and TCM, which has been passed down from generation to generation. Starting with his great grandfather, the royal doctor for the Emperor of China, to his grandmother, and finally his father, they collectively hold more than a century’s worth of experience in this ancient Chinese art.
