About Mitra Daneshrad
A graduate of Emperor's College of traditional Oriental Medicine, Mitra Daneshrad is also California Board Certified. She has completed further study and Certification at the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and teaching hospital in Beijing , China. She is on medical staff of Olympia Medical Center, and Good Samaritan Hospital. In addition, Mitra is committed to her patient's healthcare with quality of life being the primary focus. Her practice emphasizes the mind/body connection in health and well-being. She integrates acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapies and lifestyle counseling to treat acute and chronic problems and offers ongoing treatment as a wellness practice. Mitra believes that many chronic illnesses that occur due to overwork and stress may be prevented or reversed with regular wellness care.
Having worked with several medical clinics and orthopedic surgeons since 1999, Mitra specializes in the treatment injuries to the spine and extremities, pain management, arthritis, post surgery recovery, stress, anxiety and insomnia.
