About Amy Mitchell
Amy Sierra Bolton Taylor, M.S., L.Ac., is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbalist with her Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She practices medicine with joy that is rooted in her own experience of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and is informed by her over ten years of study and experience in the world of integrative medicine.
Focus
She specializes in women’s health, fertility - for men, women and same sex couples, healthy pregnancy, and postpartum health. She also treats many other conditions.
History
Amy was first introduced to Chinese Medicine in Italy, while studying Tai Chi. She is a strong advocate for integrative medicine and was instrumental in the formation of the premier integrative medical clinic in Northern California, The Integrative Medical Clinic of Santa Rosa. She has also studied yoga and meditation in India and Nepal, assisted in delivering babies and has studied and practiced with two of the foremost fertility specialists in the country, Carol Fong, L.Ac., and Dr. LiFang Liang, L.Ac.
Practice
Amy has a thriving practice in West Berkeley. She is also a staff practitioner at Elephant Pharmacy, where she provides free health consultations to the community and gives lectures and classes, both in San Rafael and Berkeley. Amy complements her private practice with her position as a staff acupuncturist at the Dr. LiFang Liang's Fertility Clinic in San Francisco.
Education
Amy believes deeply in the power of education and teaches and lectures regularly on acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also teaches for The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, her alma mater and in the community.
