About Julie Barsam-Cummings
Dr. Julie Barsam-Cummings is a Board-Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Board-Certified Licensed Herbalist in Massachusetts and a Doctor of Acupuncture licensed in Rhode Island. She received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Tufts University and her Masters in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture, the nation's oldest college of Oriental Medicine.
She is considered an expert in both Traditional Chinese Acupuncture as well as Japanese Acupuncture styles, the therapies that do not use any needles, for gentle, yet effective treatments for those who are needle-sensitive or for use with children. Specializing in both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, she is able to draw upon numerous disciplines to assist clients with their health goals.
