About Robert Gracey
Robert is a licensed acupuncturist who has expertise in both traditional acupuncture and Japanese non-insertive styles. Non-insertive styles are especially gentle methods that rebalance the body without breaking the skin. Appropriate for all people, non-insertive techniques are particularly effective for children and older patients, those weakened by chronic conditions, and of course a wonderful option for patients uncomfortable with needles.
Robert treats patients with a wide range of needs, from general health problems to acute and chronic conditions. In addition, healthy clients use acupuncture as a way to maintain optimal health. Robert works collaboratively with his patients and their other health caregivers. He values their feedback and encourages their participation.
In addition to clinical work, Robert has a fond interest in teaching, and is a faculty member of the New England School of Acupuncture. He is affiliated with the Toyo Hari Association (non-insertive acupuncture); the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine; the American Acupuncture Council; the National Journal of Oriental Medicine and the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Society of Massachusetts. He is a founding member of the Shakuju Association of North America and is affiliated with the organization in Japan.
