About Mary Maurer
Welcome to the Asian Healing Arts Academy, Mary Maurer, L.Ac., LMT, CYT, has been in the field of natural healing and specifically the Asian healing Arts since 1992.
She trained and lived in Okinawa, Japan from 1987-1994 during this time she received her training in Namikoshi Shiatsu and Japanese Anma massage as well as the 5 Elements Yoga. Moving back to the US in 1995 she began teaching her style of 5 Elements Yoga which she has named ZenYOGA Acu-stretch. Mary received her Masters of Science in Natural Health through the Clayton College of Natural Health in 1996.
Practicing, teaching and furthering her studies in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture Mary continues to train with the highest of oriental medical masters in the field.
She has dedicated her life to helping those find an alternative to the limited linear western medical approach which not everyone can afford. Oriental Medicine having been the leading medicine for thousands of years for millions of people is a most gracious alternative for patients searching for a health based practice not an illness based practice. Oriental Medicine is a natural alternative and does live up to the seekers expectations as providing patients with better health and emotional well-being.
Mary volunteers her acupuncture services weekly at the Arid Club, located on the LDCR Homeless Campus in Phoenix using mainly the NADA protocol, and has seen amazing results with her patients. |
