About Nancy Brem
Practice:
Nancy’s practice is founded on the principle that there is no better way to treat the body than with the gifts that nature has given us. The underlying philosophy is that, no matter how mundane the cause of illness, the true healing occurs when we surrender to the events and experiences of our lives to obtain the lessons and the gifts. We can then be truly receptive to life. Profound healing can occur. Welcome.
Credentials:
Nancy is a National Board Certified, licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the state of Arizona. She earned a Masters in Science of Oriental Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Nancy also holds a Master in Education from the University of Phoenix. In 1996, Nancy earned a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Buffalo State College in NY, while she built her foundation in Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Southern Chinese Gung Fu in Holland, N.Y. She studied Gung Fu, Qi Gong, and Taoist Philosophy.
Specialties:
At the start of her training in Chinese Medicine, Nancy was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Her determination to overcome this illness using Chinese Medicine now finds her symptom-free and in excellent health. Since that time Nancy has dedicated herself to learning how to help others overcome their own illness in the areas of Digestive health, Woman’s Health, and Pain Resolution.
Personal Life:
Nancy is the proud mother of two of Nature’s great masterpieces, her twin toddlers Blake and Nathaniel. She is in earnest anticipation of the time when she can be free to teach Gung Fu and Qi Gong, in addition to her current role in providing healing services at MindBody Medicine Center. |
