I currently teach and practice traditional Chinese medicine at the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Roseville, MN. I have been a practitioner since I graduated from University of Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1991. For my MS, MD and PHD degrees I specialized in the areas of neurology and and gerontology, conducting research, treating patients , and teaching. I was fortunate to be able to pursue my post-doctoral research work at two of the premier medical institutions in China: Beijing Institute of Geriatrics and the neurology department in Xuanwu hospital. I am proud that my research projects have been beneficial to many stroke victims and Parkinson's patients in China.
My area of specialization are neurology and geriatrics. Using the TCM therapeutic modalities of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine I focus on the treatment of neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke sequelae, ALS, and disease related to senility. I also treat many common health conditions such as joint pain, neck and back injuries, headaches, migraines, TMJ, restless leg syndrome, ect.
