Marcelle Hanish is state board-certified to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine which includes the modalities of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Marcelle received her degree of Bachelors of Science in nursing from the University of Arizona, later graduating with a postgraduate Doctorate of Acupuncture, DAc, and Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Arizona Academy of Advanced Complementary Medicines in Phoenix, AZ. Other post graduate clinical studies include Advanced Certifications in N.A.E.T. or Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique, J.M.T. or Jaffe-Mellor Technique for Allergy and Auto-Immune Disorders, Auricular Therapy and a Doctorate from the Romano Byzantine College for Doctorate in Chiropathy; DCh. Marcelle Hanish also completed two internships in Acupuncture and Herbology in Sri Lanka at the University De Medicina. She is also a certified Gestalt Therapist, BioCranial Therapist, also certified in 'TAT' or Tapas Acupressure Technique and Emotional Freedom Technique ‘EFT’, trained in the "Kaufman Technique" for "Pain Neutralization" and the "Mei Zen" Cosmetic Acupuncture Techniques.
An Arizona native, Marcelle is the founder and member Natural Alternatives Institute of Healing Arts, PLLC and has been in private practice since 1998. She has served as a member of the Arizona State Board of Acupuncture Examiners and is a member of the Arizona Society for Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture.
