About Shilpa Dias
My patients experience excellent results due a combination of my extensive training and experience as a physician with a Masters in Acupuncture. I was a licensed physician specializing in Homeopathic Medicine in India. I then obtained a Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Profession. I am Board Certified with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and am registered in OH and KY. I am a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, treating infertility. My other specialties include certifications in Facial Rejuvenation, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Pediatric Acupuncture (Shonishin) and Reiki. I have taught at the SHI Acupuncture School in Lebanon, Ohio.
Acupuncture is a well-recognized Chinese system of medicine. During treatment, disposable, very fine FDA approved needles are inserted into various acupuncture points distributed on the entire body surface. This process regulates normal Qi (energy) flow through the meridians (energy pathways), thus relieving symptoms and helping the body to restore health.
Cosmetic and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is an excellent alternative to surgical face-lifts. It is far less expensive, safer, virtually painless, with minimal side effects or risk of disfigurement. Its a revitalization process to help the whole body look and feel younger.
